I am currently working on rendering a coffee maker and coffee pot for my DESN 132B course. It is due Wednesday and I have yet to started rendering. I practiced rendering this weekend, but was frustrated with trying to render the glass coffee pot. Someone in my class gave me a genius tip; fill the coffee pot with coffee! I thought she was freaking amazing! If I fill the coffee pot with coffee I would not have to worry about rendering the coffee maker behind the glass. What I am really doing is taking out a few steps and details. Time is going faster and I need to finish this projekt tonight.

Professors’ Comments

December 2, 2010

I do love receiving comments from professors such as these. My French professor told me he expected more from me and now my Design professor and advisor is saying the same. It makes me feel so guilty for putting out a crappy piece of work, but at the same time the comment makes me feel pretty darn confident about my work. Well, not so confident about some of my projekts, but confident in doing better. Hooray to high expectations and disappointments.
